Acquiring Continuing Education Units
Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) were created for the purpose of ensuring the integrity of the Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) designation is maintained. As a result, the skills of rehabilitation professionals and the quality of services provided to persons with disabilities or disadvantages are enhanced.
If you are an RRP, you must complete 100 approved Continuing Education Units (CEU's) over a (5) year period to maintain your designation.
CEU's are handled by the national office which has developed a guide for members to reference. The downloadable guide provides up-to-date information on how to handle CEU requirements.
Offering a Pre-Approved Session for Continuing Education Units
If you are offering a session and you would like to be pre-approved for CEU's, you will need to submit specific documentation to the National Office. Please retain a copy of all documents for your own records.
